So within three years (give or take a month) we've gotten a full length, a live album, and two 7 track EPs. And some bonus tracks from the self titled reissue. I think that's pretty great.

Looking forward to this. Fuck Forever isn't my thing, but it was well done.

obviously there were some lean years there when 3EB was touring & playing new tunes but tinkering them to death, which just maybe generated some bitterness, but they've seem to have broken the pattern

Fuck Forever is pretty darn good, to me it sounds like a legit pre-OOTV B-Side that never got recorded until now.

I waited until I'd heard the 3eb version a few times over the course of a couple days before I listened to the original version, and I give the song choice, execution, and surprise delivery mad props.

I really love this idea and what I have heard so far.

Song of the siren used to be played before shows awhile back (This Mortal Coil's version). I bet that one will be pretty mellow and trippy.

I really like and find interesting that other than that song they are covering relatively new songs. It's interesting for a band to do a covers album and not do songs that influenced them, although maybe some of these songs influenced younger members.

I had never heard of Happy Diving or Chastity Belt and love both of those songs, especially Joke.

The band has really had some nice output over the years.

I completely forgot about the live album and haven't listened to a single song from it. How is it?

I think it's really well done. Definitely worth a listen now that it's streaming. There's a lot of newer songs. I probably would've taken some of the older stuff but I guess that's kind of expected with the current lineup. I'm not sure if they even play anything from OOTV or UM at shows anymore. But that's just, like, my opinion man.

It's pretty good. I like that they put the intro on there. GFY, HS, and COS are pretty sweet.

I listened to fuck forever about a dozen times. Meh... then I listened to the original! Far better- the 3eb one sounds too polished.

No way, it doesn't. The differences are small but decisive. Well, it's live and sounds natural and simply like rock music. The Babyshambles managed to recreate this on the record. Jenkins polished the song on the record, especially the vocals have lost any emotional power.

He does it to everything they release. Shipboard on the live album is 10x better than what shit is on dopamine.

"Joke" is available for download on Amazon.

While I love the original I like what they did.

If joke were an original it would be the best track this iteration of the band had released.

I like it, but I don't like the bridge that much. It does sound like they are having fun, which is pretty cool.

I'm really curious to hear the other songs and if they drastically change any of them. So far they have been 3eb styled with minor changes.
