Topic. I saw it discussed somewhere here a couple weeks ago but cant find here, or online. Infos?
"What happened to our little tribe? On a tombstone it inscribed, And I, I didn't know my friends would leave me too, but when I sold out I thought my lies out through and through..." (Jenkins, S. 1995)
I don't ever get into discussions about getting old, because I'm pretty sure I'm going to age like fruit.
Anyone ever wonder if Godtland stole those lyrics and SJ was just oblivious to them being lifted?
It would explain his complete lack of reservation in claiming they were his father's favorite lyrics of his in a publicized interview/video whatever the hell it was.
(I concede that blatant narcissism would also explain it, but the scenario intrigues me.)
Not a bad theory.
As plausible as any.
I'd love to get the scoop from Gotland some time about how much ghostwriting he actually did.
