I can't really give too much information but as some of you have gathered the site died and had to be restored from a backup taken roughly a week ago.

We lost a number of posts including the main update from James. However, I pasted it somewhere and will repost it later.

I gotta go play football but I'll sort things out when I get back (a couple of hours).

Yeah, I also lost some rep, I think 7,000 for a post that got erased, but that is OK, because I know how much everyone loves me anyway :cheeky:

Ok, I definitely think something is up and there is some kind of conspiracy going on. I just looked at my Myspace, and I had what i thought to be a legit 3EB myspace page in my top 8 and now that profile seems to have been deleted. I don't know, so much 3eb activity in such little time seems a bit odd...

Hmmm, ;) or no ;) I'm still not sure how serious you are. I can get as much information about the problem as possible and paste it here for you.

Nobody from the band or their management had anything to do with this site dying. Third Eye Blind and/or their management don't "control" this site, it has no official relationship, however, there's always been a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" understanding.

As of right now I don't think anyone has an itchy back.

Actually only WTST and JTM said that, and it looks like JTM went up 7,000 recently, so his looks right on; Not sure how he got it back though...

My apologies for any misunderstandings, I thought the idea of an actual conspiracy was absurd enough that it would always be understood as a joke. Apparently not though, but yeah, it's just funny in a weird sort of way that so much stuff happened within 2 or 3 days. But I would hope you all have gotten to know me well enough to give me the benefit of the doubt, I just don't want to slip into that naughty bin where any post I make is immediately blown off and ridiculed in a non-loving way. I want you all to call me a douche bag in the homo-erotic smile kind of way.
And Adam, if your nuts needed to be scratched...well, i probably wouldn't scratch them, but I would create a diversion so that you could take care of it, cause that's the kind of man I am. Yup.

see, we're not saying it's management or the band, we're saying there's some greater mastermind that's causing chaos for all things 3eb related.

i mean, rumors have it the big dogs from the former Elecktra label all woke up with hangovers and were wearing women's clothing.
