You know what would be an awesome group for them to Co-Headline with, if they were to co-headline, which i doubt, but if they did. Everclear. A show with Third Eye Blind and Everclear would be so perfect. And they both have albums coming out at about the same time, (within a week of each other). any thoughts?

I love Everclear! But I think they should headline their own tour. I hated how they only played an hour opening up for Matchbox Twenty.

I'd prefer they headline their own tour, but a 3eb/Everclear show would kick so much ass.

that would be pretty sweet...but I think for right now, I'd rather they had two seperate tours, but have them really close behind eachother! ya know? So one weekend I could see 3eb and the next Everclear...drag out the good times rather than have it all one night!

A lot of people could do that, but I know I would have trouble shelling out $35 (+/-) twice to buy each ticket. :(

Everclear and Third Eye Blind would be nice.

I'm wondering if Vanessa might tour again with Stephan. I really don't think she is too bad of an opening act.

No Co-Headlining tours.

Please.

I want a Third Eye Blind tour, and that is all.

Please no, I couldn't stand her live act at all.

You see, while she is playing I'll probably be buying a shirt or something. I won't really feel the need to see here anyway, thus giving me as much time as I want to pick out a Third Eye Blind shirt/keychain/talking condom/whatever.

If she is still with Stephan, they'd still be able to spend a lot of time together. See, it works out well.

I think they should call it the "Its about fuckin time tour"

I could never pick anyone to tour with 3eb...mainly cause 3eb are a thousand times more dynamic than most bands nowadays, especially within the current pop/rock spectrum of bands.

I would like to see them tour with OK GO...just cause I woudl like to see OK GO, but wouldn't want to pay to see only them :-)

However, I detested her attempts to be "rock".

"I actually don't like this song; I call it 'one thousand fucking miles!' "

Get a grip Vanessa :(

She said that? What a freak!

Yes. A few posts later I explained myself though. ;)

I second that. Has Flickerstick ever played large audiences? Last time I checked their webpage (May 02) they were just listed for performing at clubs and such.

How about something like Thistle? And since I'm sure JT would be around, they could do the intro to Palm Reader, that you all love soooooooo much, LIVE on stage!!! That would be a hoot!

:p

I just don't think Vanessa and 3eb share the same fans. I was at the concert in KC, and everyone just kind of ignored Vanessa's set. The types of music they play are so removed from one another, it would be hard to see them touring together again. Vanessa is alright, but does not belong as an opening act for a band like 3eb, or the Goo Goo Dolls for that matter.

Anyone knows I will always agree with Flickerstick, they usually play clubs, I dont think they've played any bigger venues yet. Breaking Benjamin, Butch Walker, and OLP now that I have Gravity and totally love it :p

(how ironic) I totally agree with what I said... :p I just want to emphasize my point. While I was joking about JT, Thistle is an awesome band. All two songs I've heard were great!

As for other possibilities, what about Zwan? Or is Billy too big to open for someone....

I saw flickerstick open for live at the ampitheater here in little rock, that was probably the biggest show theyve ever played. They were good, i want them, our lady peace, or dezerays hammer to open.

3EB and InMe need to be on the same bill.

Ahh! *jealous* I really wanted to see them when they came to Atlanta but they were playing a club. Seeing as I'm only 16, I couldn't go... Oh well maybe next time.

Adam, do tell us about InMe.

My second favourite UK band at the moment (to Coldplay). They're young, loud and very good. Album called "Overgrown Eden" is out within the next month or so, download songs like "Firefly," "Underdose" and "Crushed Like Fruit."

From HMV.co.uk

It is their lifelong friendship and understanding of each other that is the very key to the passion and honesty behind everything InMe- Dave McPherson (vocals, guitar), Joe Morgan (bass, backing vocals), Simon Taylor (drums) - does. All of their lyrics, penned by Dave McPherson, are truly from the soul, and are an emotional self-expression of everything that haunts him. This is emulated in the way that Dave uses his vocal performance, a catharsis that moves from screams and growls to soft, angelic falsettos. Enveloped in the anger, power and sheer drive of drums, bass and guitars, the 12 brilliant tracks that complete the debut album 'Overgrown Eden' are sure to achieve what InMe have striven for since their incarnation - to have their music heard.

'InMe display plenty of youthful exuberance and combine the spirit of Muse, feeder and the grunge vibes of Nirvana and Pearl Jam all into one little package' - Rock Sound

'Starting with a solid base of sinuous rhythms and muscular riffs, InMe alternate between bright melodies and explosive bursts of noise in a similar post grunge fashion to Vex Red (albeit minus the electronic embellishments). McPherson has both the power and range to carry off this light and shade approach, and their debut 'Overgrown Eden' should cause quite a stir' - Kerrang!

I'm pissed I missed Flickerstick the last time they came to Cleveland. I couldn't go. I was so mad cuz they played a small intimate club.

I'm sure your english accent is a bit different from aany of ours. Hell me Brian and Arpit are from the same state and I bet you can tell who's from North/Central/South Jersey. I'm not even from England and know that people from Manchester have a distinct accent ;) But you guys have one of the best accents ::insert yes smiley here::

My geography professor told me about this guy... I think he was here in Kentucky, but even if he's not, I'll say he is for this explanation... anyway this guy could hear a person speak just a couple of sentences and be able to tell which county/city in Kentucky he or she was from!

ppl in southern missouri (branson, the ozarks, etc) have the worst accents, nothing against them personally, but they're jus so unattractive. its so goddam hick/country!!
jus wondering.... does anyone else say "whole nother"?? cuz i know a lot pf ppl who here say that. it jus might be a st. louis thing....i dunno

Many people from various places in the US use "whole nother" as in "whole nother issue."

You can hear it on TV shows every once in a while, so it isn't really regional.

I say it sometimes when I want to demphasize something.

I've heard it, but then again, I'm from central Kansas, which is about as hick as you can get.
I pride myself on my non-hick accent though. The one thing that really bugs me is when people say 'warsh' instead of wash. Argh...it is the ultimate in hick. Makes me embarassed to live in Kansas. :sigh:

 I think just about every state in the US is hick now days...

My Chemistry teacher was telling us why it was cold in our classroom a couple of weeks ago.. he said, "According to the maitanance people, some things in this building are broken and said to be 'blowed out' and if it's majorly broken and in need of serious repair, then it's 'dun blowed out.' and well, the heater is 'dun blowed out.' "
