Yeah, there is no way that Wounded should have taken down God of Wine. GOW is my favorite 3eb song (by far) and Wounded is my second favorite, but I might vote MDB just because Wounded never deserved to triumph over GOW. :cry:

I kind of do my own thing. For years i just considered it number 13 on the album just being an good 3EB song then several years later I found out that it was this cult hit. I know its supposed to be from a true fans prospective the signature 3EB song but for me its a good song but not the top. I Want You here in this part of Alabama has always had that feel but never really MDB.

I think it is literally impossible to compare these two songs. It is like comparing apples to oranges.

I like both - but these songs are too different. The energy MDB has is not nearly as powerful as Wounded. But on the other hand, MDB quite easily has the best lyrics - hands down - that 3eb has written.

It would have been much easier - at least to compare - MDB v. GOW - but whatever.

Wounded wins, eh MDB actually. Heck I don't know - too close to call.
